The IPL is India’s most recognized and thrilling cricket event. The IPL 2024 will begin on March 22, 2024, and last until May 29, 2024. The BCCI organizes the IPL each year. The BCCI has released the whole IPL 2024 schedule. This IPL match will feature ten teams, with the BCCI adding two new clubs. TATA will sponsor the IPL 2024. This is the 17th season of the Indian Premier League.

The IPL 2024 Auction for these ten teams was conducted on December 19, 2023, with IPL franchises buying or releasing players for these teams. The squad will play 74 matches, following the structure of the previous year’s IPL. IPL 2024 Schedule (First 21 Matches)

The IPL is set to begin in India. The BCCI has issued the IPL 2024 Schedule, which states that the IPL 2024 would run from March 22, 2024 to May 29, 2024. All Indian residents, particularly Indian youth, are eagerly awaiting the IPL Time Table 2024. The RCB and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play the inaugural match of the IPL 2024 at Chennai. This will be held on March 22, 2024. MS Dhoni will lead the Chennai Super Kings, while Virat Kohli will lead the RCB.

IPL 2024 Player List: Team-wise

The IPL 2024 auction included 332 players from 13 nations. Of them, 216 were Indians. After player retention, releases, and swaps, the IPL 2024 auction left the 10 clubs with a maximum of 77 places to fill, including 30 foreign player quotas.

 However, 72 players were selected during bidding, with just KKR (23) and RR (22) choosing not to use their entire allotment of 25 players. However, all 30 foreign player slots were secured.

 Aside from Starc and Cummins starting the 20 crore club in the IPL, New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell (INR 14.00 cr to CSK), Harshal Patel (INR 11.75 cr to PBKS), Alzarri Joseph (INR 11.50 cr to RCB), and Spencer Johnson (INR 10 cr to GT) were the players who commanded premiums of 10 crore or more at the IPL 2024 auction.
